Health Infrastructure’s projects provide significant opportunities to contribute to the sustainability of NSW’s healthcare system and Ryde Hospital is one of many NSW healthcare facilities adopting sustainable practices into its design and operations.
The NSW Government is investing $479 million in the redevelopment of Ryde Hospital to meet the future health needs of the growing community. There will be new and expanded services as well as a range of benefits that will meet the needs of staff, consumers and the community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment is being assessed and approved by the Department of Planning and Environment under a two-staged State Significant Development Application process.
The Ryde Blue Gum High Forest is in the southern section of the Ryde Hospital site making up 3.8 ha of the total 7.7 ha of hospital land.
The early works have commenced, preparing Ryde Hospital for the main works construction.
