Macquarie University proposal considered by NSW Government

Macquarie University proposed an option to relocate the Ryde Hospital to the Maquarie University North Ryde Campus. Consideration of this proposal was announcement by the NSW Government in December 2020.

In late 2021, following an extensive site assessment process, the NSW announced the existing Ryde Hospital campus was the most appropriate location for the Ryde Hospital Redevelopment.
